I started this kit at the beginning of June and finished it on June 27th. Despite being piloted by a dork, Duel Gundam is one of my favorite CE designs. There are no wings or large backpacks in sight, just the essence of a clean Gundam design.

While the MS itself doesn't have a stitch line, all of the Duel weapons do, most notably the bottom of the bazooka and the top of the gun. This is annoying enough that I want to fix it, but it can cause heartache, since both have clear lenses that need to be painted and put in before the parts are sealed.
It generally hinders the overall build, although I found the clip on the saber beam to be a bit tight when painting, probably best to mask the dead first if you're painting.
Orange - Orange base coat (100%), white starting technique, then orange yellow light coat (95%) + yellow (5%). White is added for the final highlight.
Inner Frame / Arms Gray - Neutral Gray (70%) + Black (30%) base coat, followed by Neutral Gray (90%) + Black (10%) for highlights.
Bandai 1/100 Mg Duel Gundam Assault Shroud
Assault Shroud Blue - I can't remember the exact mix, because I deviated a bit from the manual mix. For the base coat, I used a mixture of White + Cobalt Blue + Blue Gray + Violet + Mid Blue as the base coat. Then I added white for the highlights.
There are a few places where the pieces are not printed in the correct color, namely the barrel and back of the bazooka, the "orange" protective skirt on the Assault Shroud's legs, and the thrusters on the Assault Shroud's backpack. There are also lots of small details printed on the frame, armor and weapon parts such as pipes / vents etc. which do not have to be painted but add a bit of character to the kit.
For the panel lines, I used Tamiya Enamel German Grey. For the various details and pipes I used a combination of Tamiya Enamel German Grey, Titanium Silver and Titanium Gold. I hand painted a small "missile" on the side of the Assault Shroud backpack with Tamiya Enamel Red.
Decals, as always, from Samueldecal. For the most part they're pretty good, but one criticism I have is that the gray decals are treated more like reflective silver, so they're hard to see in some lighting conditions. I had a couple of decals break when I put them on, they are the long ones that go on bazookas, tail fins etc. so be careful when you put them on.
